Clear Rivers Chorus/Women of the Watershed is an informal gathering of women making music in celebration of Spirit, Earth, and Life. Begun in January 2003, the group welcomes women of all experience levels and backgrounds including singers, instrumentalists, & visual artists.

Carolyn McDade, the composer of most of our music, says that our purpose is to develop “a reverence for life, for planetary, social, and personal wholeness.” See www.carolynmcdademusic.com.  With that in mind, we have shared our music for local Earth Day gatherings, in fund raising for community agencies, in worship services, and for our own enjoyment. We share information and reflection on environmental issues, and we support each other, honoring the ways our lives flow together.  We are currently expanding our repertoire to include other sources of inspiration and connection with other styles of music that enrich our shared community life.

Our schedule usually includes one Saturday morning and one weekday evening each month. Childcare will be provided if you call ahead to let us know you need it. We are grateful to St. Andrew United Methodist Church for their generosity in allowing us to use the sanctuary for our practice space and nursery facilities as needed.

There is no fee for participation, but donations are accepted.  Checks can be made payable to Clear Rivers Chorus.  For more information, contact
